Man Shot In Rogers Park, Hails Cab To Hospital
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot in the shoulder in the Rogers Park neighborhood Tuesday night, and hailed a taxi to take him to the hospital.
Someone shot the 25-year-old man about 7:15 p.m. in the 1600 block of West Howard Street, according to police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines.
The victim then hailed a taxi, which took him to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston, News Affairs Officer Robert Perez said. He was reported to be in good condition when he arrived at the hospital.
No one was in custody as of Wednesday morning. The victim has a police record and street gang affiliation, but police did not know if the shooting was gang-related, Perez said.
