Man Shot In Head At NW Suburban Nightclub
BARTLETT, Ill. (STMW) -- A man was shot twice in the head at a northwest suburban nightclub early Sunday, around the same time that he was observed arguing with someone in the foyer of the club, police said.
At approximately 3 a.m. Sunday, the Bartlett Police Department responded to the Cadillac Ranch, 1175 Lake Street, for a person who had been shot, police said.
Responding officers found a man in his early 20s with two gunshot wounds to his head. They later learned he had suffered a single gunshot wound to back of the head. The second injury caused when he fell to the ground, police said.
The Bartlett Fire Protection District treated the victim at the scene and a Flight for Life helicopter took him to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, police said. The man has since been upgraded from critical condition to stable condition.
Witnesses told police it appeared the victim was arguing with someone in the foyer of the Cadillac Ranch at the time of the shooting. As of Sunday afternoon police did not know the nature of the argument and no one was in custody.
The Cadillac Ranch is open until 4 a.m. on Saturdays, according to the club's website.
