Man Shot During Robbery In West Pullman
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot multiple times during a robbery on the Far South Side in the West Pullman neighborhood early Monday.
The 35-year-old man was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 12000 block of South Aberdeen Street about 12:10 a.m. when two males approached on foot and announced a robbery, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
The man got out of the vehicle and tried to run away and was shot in the left wrist, left foot, upper thigh and abdomen, Alfaro said. He was transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in "stable" condition.
Area South detectives are investigating.
