Man Shot During Logan Square Robbery
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 62-year-old man was shot inside a Logan Square store Tuesday afternoon after struggling with a male who had just robbed the business.
Police said two robbers entered the small retail store in the 2200 block of North Western Avenue, announcing the stick-up about 5:30 p.m.
During the robbery the 62-year-old man, who was inside the store at the time, was shot in the leg after struggling with one of the robbers, police said.
He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition, police said.
