Man Shot, Critically Wounded In Little Village
CHICAGO (CBS) -- One person has been critically wounded in a shooting overnight on the city's West Side.
The man was shot in the face and chest around 9:45 p.m. Monday in the 2400 block of South Spaulding Avenue, in the Little Village neighborhood, police said.
Officers found the man lying on the sidewalk.
He was taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
Harrison Area police detectives are investigating, and are not sure of a motive. Police had no one in custody as of Tuesday morning.
