Man Shot, Critically Wounded After Argument In Englewood
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A drive-by shooter was on the loose Wednesday morning, after critically wounding a man in the Englewood neighborhood overnight.
It all started with an argument between two men outside a gas station in the 1200 block of West 59th Street overnight. Around 12:25 a.m., one of the men left the gas station and returned in a white sport-utility vehicle.
He fired shots from the passenger side of the vehicle, and struck the other man, 21, multiple times in his head and body.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where was listed in critical condition early Wednesday after initial reports that he had died, police said.
No one was in custody as of last report.
