Man Shot At 95th Street Red Line Terminal; Boy Grazed By Bullet In South Shore
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The busy 95th Street CTA Red Line terminal on the city's South Side turned into a crime scene overnight.
Ninety-fifth Street is the last stop on the Red Line, and it was the scene of a shooting just before midnight Monday night.
A 36-year-old man was shot in the buttocks. He was reported in stable condition at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Meanwhile, a 13-year-old boy is lucky to be alive after suffering a graze wound in a shooting in the South Shore neighborhood.
The boy was grazed by a bullet around 10:45 p.m. Monday in the 7300 block of South East End Avenue. He was taken to Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago Medicine, where he was reported in good condition.
As of Tuesday morning, no suspects were in custody in either shooting.
