Man Shot And Killed On West Side
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man who was shot in the head in the Austin neighborhood late Tuesday has died.
Coby Bridgeman, 29, was outside in the 5600 block of West Washington Boulevard when three men approached about 10:20 p.m., authorities said.
One of the men pulled out a handgun and shot the man in the head, police said.
Bridgeman was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood in critical condition. He died from his injuries sometime about 3:09 a.m. Wednesday, the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said.
Area North detectives launched an investigation. However, no one was in custody.
