Man Severely Burned In Lincoln Park Fire
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man suffered severe burns overnight in a fire at a million-dollar home in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
The fire broke out around 12:50 a.m. in the four-story house at 2636 N. Seminary Ave., just south of the intersection with Lincoln Avenue, according to Fire Media Affairs.
A man was taken in serious condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with smoke inhalation, and second and third degree burns to his hands and abdomen.
The five-bedroom house where the fire occurred is estimated by Zillow as being worth $1.043 million, and features a fitness room, a game room lounge, a sun deck and a six-person movie theater.
Further details of the fire were not immediately available.
