Man Seriously Wounded In West Pullman Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was seriously injured in a shooting early Wednesday in the Far South Side West Pullman neighborhood.
The 19-year-old man was a passenger in a vehicle in the 12200 block of South Princeton Avenue at 1:29 a.m. when a gray vehicle pulled up beside it and someone inside fired shots at him, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said.
The man was shot in the lower back and taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, Gaines said.
A police source said the man is a documented gang member.
