Man Seriously Injured In Humboldt Park Shooting

CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was seriously injured in a shooting in the Humboldt Park neighborhood Wednesday afternoon on the West Side.

The 25-year-old man was shot in the back at 5:16 p.m. in the 1100 block of North Harding Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.

The man was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in serious condition, Zala said.

Police could not provide further details Wednesday night. Harrison Area detectives are investigating.
