Man Robs Same Wicker Park Bank Twice In 10 Days
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man who successfully robbed a Wicker Park bank 10 days ago robbed the same location again on Monday.
Two men robbed the Chase Bank branch at 1230 N. Milwaukee Ave. about 12:15 p.m., police said.
The FBI said one of the men robbed the same bank branch Jan. 20.
The bandit suspected in both robberies is described as a 6-feet to 6-feet-1 black man weighing 180 to 190 pounds, according to the FBI. He is believed to between 35 and 45 years old.
The FBI said he wears a black jacket, black baseball cap, gloves and jeans during the robberies. The second man was also wearing a black jacket, black hat and jeans, according to the FBI.
Nobody was injured in either robbery.
A reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspects, and anyone with information should call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
