Man Robs Rolling Meadows Bank
(STMW) -- A man robbed a bank in northwest suburban Rolling Meadows Monday morning, police said.
Shortly before 10 a.m., the man, believed to be about 60 years old, walked into the Charter One bank at 3901 Kirchoff Road and demanded money from a teller, according to a release from Rolling Meadows police.
The man did not show a weapon or imply he had one, police said.
He was described as a white man, about 60 years old, standing 6-feet with a thin build. He was wearing wire-framed glasses, a blue and gray flannel shirt, a gray hooded jacket and blue jeans, police said.
Authorities believe the man to be the "Hooded Bandit," a man suspected of robbing other banks in Rolling Meadows and Wood Dale.
The Rolling Meadows Police Department is offering up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Anyone with information can reach the department at (847) 255-2416.
