Man Robs Citi Bank Branch In Loop
CHICAGO (CBS) -- Authorities are looking for a man who robbed a Loop bank on Wednesday afternoon.
The man stood in the lobby of the Citi Bank branch at 11 S. LaSalle St. for a few minutes about 1 p.m. before he approached a teller and demanded money, according to police and the FBI.
The man did not threaten the teller or display a weapon, police said.
He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robber is described as a 30-40 year old black man, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 and 140 pounds with brown eyes, black hair and medium complexion, authorities said. He was wearing sunglasses, a dark ball cap and a red-and-white-checkered shirt.
Area Central detectives and the FBI are investigating.
