Man Robs A Michigan Avenue Bank, For Third Time
CHICAGO (AP) -- A Mag Mile bank branch was robbed Friday, by a man suspected of four bank robberies this month, three of them on Michigan Avenue downtown.
The latest robbery took place at the Citi Bank branch at 539 N. Michigan Avenue, according to the FBI.
The robber was described as a white or Hispanic male, about 30 years old, with a stocky build, 5-foot-10 to 6-feet tall, and about 200 to 215 pounds.
He has moles on both sides of his face, near his temples.
He is also suspected of robbing the Chase Bank branch at 300 S. Michigan Ave. on Aug. 22; the Chase Bank branch at 150 N. Michigan Ave. on Aug. 17, and the Builders Bank branch at 225 N. LaSalle St. on Aug. 13.
There have been at least 131 bank robberies in the Chicago area this year, according to the FBI.
