Man Robbed, Raped Near CTA Station
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 24-year-old man told police he was robbed and sexually assaulted at knifepoint near the North and Clybourne CTA station at 1 a.m. Tuesday.
The man told officers he was sitting on a bench at the Red Line platform in the 1500 block of North Clybourne Avenue when he was approached by another man, who forced him to go to a nearby ATM at knifepoint and withdraw an undisclosed amount of money, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
The victim told police the man then took him into an alley and sexually assaulted him, Alfaro said.
No one was in custody early Tuesday morning as Area Central detectives investigated.
