Man Killed After Being Shot In Head In Chatham

CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was fatally shot in the head at his Chatham home Thursday afternoon on the South Side.
The shooting occurred just after noon inside a home in the 600 block of East 87th Place, police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez said.
Rakiem Douman, 21, was standing in front of his house when he was shot several times attempting to run inside, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. Police said he was shot in the head and was dead on the scene.
Area South detectives are investigating.
