Man Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash In Lincoln Square
CHICAGO (STMW) -- The body of a man that was found in the street in Lincoln Square early Saturday was being investigated as the victim of a hit-and-run crash, police said.
About 4:50 a.m., someone driving in the 2100 block of West Wilson Avenue came upon the unresponsive adult male lying in the street, police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada said.
James Andrew Truslow, believed to be in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
An autopsy Sunday found Truslow died of multiple injuries from being struck by the vehicle and the manner of his death could not be determined, according to the medical examiner's office.
His death is being investigated as the result of a hit-and-run crash, Estrada said. Police did not immediately have any additional details. The police Major Accident Investigation Unit is investigating..
