CHICAGO (CBS) -- The City of Chicago has settled with a man who was run-over by a drunk city worker.
Richard Chang was one of seven people hit when a pickup truck jumped the curb last year near Cedar and Rush.
Chang suffered brain damage, and had to learn to walk and talk again.
The city has agreed to pay him $6.25 million.
The driver, Dwight Washington, later pleaded guilty to drunk driving charges and was sentenced to nine years in prison.
