Man In Ski Mask Robs Woodstock Gas Station
WOODSTOCK (CBS) -- A man in a ski mask, armed with a handgun, robbed a northwest suburban gas station early Wednesday.
About 2 a.m., Woodstock police responded to the Shell Service Station at 315 N. Madison St., a release from Woodstock police said.
A man, believed to be between 20 and 30, walked into the store wearing a ski mask and approached the counter, displayed a handgun and ordered the clerk to give him cash.
The clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of currency from the register, police said.
The man then fled on foot south on North Madison Street.
The robber was further described as about 6 feet and 200 pounds. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black shirt, long-sleeve sweatshirt and black pants.
