Man In Custody After Stabbing In Uptown
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man is in custody after apparently stabbing another man in the chest during a fight in an Uptown neighborhood hotel Tuesday night.
The stabbing happened just before 7:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Wilson Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said. The Wilson Club Hotel is listed at 1124 W. Wilson Ave.
A man in his mid 40s was stabbed during an altercation with a man in his late 50s, Zala said. The man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was listed in "stable" condition.
The alleged attacker was taken into custody and charges were pending.
