Man Grazed By Bullets While Driving In Lawndale
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man suffered three graze wounds to the head but suffered no serious injury when gunfire rang out in the West Side Lawndale neighborhood.
The man, 36, was driving in the 1200 block of South Kolin Avenue when he heard gunfire about 10:30 p.m., police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
He drove himself to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was found to have at least three graze wounds to the head, Alfaro said.
He was walking and talking despite his injury, and is listed in "stable" condition, police said.
No one is in custody as Area Central detectives investigate.
