Man Found Unresponsive On Plane, Dies At O'Hare
CHICAGO (STMW) - A California man found unresponsive on a Turkish Airlines flight died shortly after arriving at O'Hare International Airport Tuesday afternoon.
Mohammadnaser Mirsaidi, 76, of Newton Ave. in Torrance, Calif., was pronounced dead at Resurrection Medical Center at 5 p.m., the Cook County Medical Examiner's office said.
Police said the man was found unresponsive by a flight attendant at some point during a flight to O'Hare International Airport.
Dept. of Aviation spokeswoman Eve Rodriguez said the man was aboard a Turkish Airlines flight from Istanbul, Turkey and was met at O'Hare by the Chicago Fire Dept.
The man was initially taken to Resurrection in serious-to-critical condition, Fire Media Affairs spokesman Richard Rosado said.
An autopsy on Wednesday will determine the cause of death.
A Turkish Airlines spokesperson could not be immediately reached for comment.
Police said no foul play is suspected in the death.
