Man Found Shot To Death On Sidewalk On SW Side
CHICAGO (STMW) -- An autopsy revealed a man found with head trauma on a Southwest Side sidewalk Sunday morning died of multiple gunshot wounds.
The 30-year-old man -- identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office as Miguel Rios -- was found with head trauma about 6:55 a.m. lying on the sidewalk in the 3400 block of West 38th Place, police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala said.
Rios, of 3321 W. 62nd Place, was pronounced dead at 7:40 a.m. at Mount Sinai Hospital, according to the medical examiner's office. He died of multiple gunshot wounds and his death was ruled a homicide, an autopsy performed Sunday found.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating, but the circumstances surrounding his death were not clear early Monday.
