Male-To-Female Transgender Person Found Shot To Death In West Garfield Park

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Police say a male-to-female transgender person was found shot and killed on the city's West Side Monday morning.
Harrison District police Lt. John Andrews says the body of the male-to-female transgender person was found in an alley behind the 4500 block of West Jackson Boulevard.

Police say there was a gunshot wound to the forehead.
Police say a woman called authorities about the body in an alley behind her home.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office had no immediate information on the victim's identity.
There had been no arrests as of Monday afternoon, police said.
