Man Found Shot To Death In Little Village
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was found dead with gunshot wounds to the head and chest in his backyard in the Southwest Side Little Village neighborhood late Saturday.
Police found the 23-year-old man dead at the scene in a backyard in the 2500 block of South Spaulding Avenue about 11:40 p.m., according to police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro.
Marcus Winsley, of 2511 S. Spaulding Avenue, was pronounced dead at the Stein Institute at 2:45 a.m., after being shot at the same location, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
Officers responded to a call of a person shot and when they arrived they found the victim with gunshot wounds to the head and chest, according to a report from police News Affairs.
No one was in custody early Sunday. Harrison Area detectives are investigating.
