Man Found Shot To Death After Englewood Domestic Disturbance
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was found dead with a gunshot wound after a domestic disturbance early Thursday in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
Officers responding to reports of a domestic disturbance in the 5600 block of South Wolcott at 12:30 a.m. found the 26-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head in a second-floor apartment, according to Chicago Police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the death.
Detectives were conducting a death investigation as of Thursday morning, police said.
