Man Shot At High School After Basketball Game

CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was shot in the arm in a parking lot of Bogan High School on the Southwest Side just as a basketball game let out Thursday evening.
The man, 22, was walking to his vehicle at around 6:35 p.m. when he became involved in an argument with the shooter, who pulled out a hand gun and shot the man in the right forearm, police said. The gunman then fled in a red-colored vehicle.
The man was found shot in a school parking lot but was not a student, according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Joe Roccasalva.
The shooting happened as a basketball game got out, he said.
Bogan High School is located at 3939 W. 79th St.
The man was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood and is in "stable" condition, police said.
Wentworth Area police detectives are investigating, but no one was is in custody Thursday night.
