Man Found Fatally Stabbed In Building
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man is dead after police found him with multiple stab wounds inside a South Side building Saturday night.
Police found the man about 9:25 p.m. in a first floor hallway of a building in the 4300 block of South Michigan Avenue, police said. He was stabbed in the chest and shoulder.
The man, who remained unidentified Sunday morning, was pronounced dead at 10:45 p.m. at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
An autopsy is scheduled for later Sunday.
Wentworth Area detectives are investigating what happened and seeking information on the attacker. Nobody is in custody early Sunday.
