Man Fatally Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver In Lawndale
CHICAGO (CBS)-- A man was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Lawndale neighborhood early Friday morning.
A 45-year-old man was walking northbound on Sacramento Boulevard when he was struck by a light colored SUV traveling eastbound on Congress Parkway.
The driver did not stop and fled the scene.
The victim was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
