Man Stabbed By Wife In Edgewater Home Dies An Hour Later
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man stabbed by his wife in his home early Saturday in the North Side Edgewater neighborhood died about an hour later.
The domestic-related stabbing happened about 3:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of West Hollywood Avenue, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien said.
Henry Jones, 37, was stabbed in the shoulder by his wife at their home. He was initially taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, O'Brien said.
Jones was pronounced dead at 4:20 a.m., according to a Cook County Medical Examiner's office spokesman.
Police previously spoke to a person of interest in the case, that person was released and no charges have been filed as of Sunday afternoon, Police News Affairs Officer Robert Perez said.
Belmont Area detectives are investigating.
