Man Fatally Shot On Far South Side
(STMW) -- A man was shot and killed in the Roseland neighborhood on Far South Side Monday evening.
The 19-year-old was shot in the abdomen about 5:15 p.m. in the 11300 block of South Edbrooke Avenue, police said.
He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he later died, police said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed the death, but declined to release his identity pending notification of family.
No one was in custody as Area South detectives investigated.
