Man Fatally Shot In Woodlawn
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man was found fatally shot late Friday in the Woodlawn neighborhood.
Police found the man -- identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner's office as 26-year-old Marquis Strong -- was found shot in the chest just before midnight in the 500 block of East 65th Street, police said.
Strong, of the 7100 block of South Yates Ave., was pronounced dead at 12:25 a.m. at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, according to the medical examiner's office.
Calumet Area detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody Saturday morning.
