Man Fatally Shot In Englewood, Suspect In Custody
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was shot and killed in Englewood Saturday afternoon.
The man was shot multiple times in the abdomen about 3:10 p.m. in the 5500 block of South Loomis Boulevard, police News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien said.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was taken to John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
A suspect was in custody, police said.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's office confirmed they had been notified of the death.
Area South detectives are investigating.
