Man Fatally Shot In Englewood
(STMW) -- A man was shot to death Christmas Day in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, police said.
Officers responding to a call of shots fired at 11:36 a.m. Friday in the 700 block of West 71st Street found the 20-year-old with multiple gunshot wounds to the thigh, according to Chicago Police.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the fatality.
