Lewis' alleged accomplice in the mother and son shooting, Larry Cox Jr., 28, has been charged with one count of attempted first-degree murder for allegedly plotting the death of Lewis. Cox, of the of the 1400 block of West 85th Street, was later charged with two counts of first-degree murder stemming from his role as the alleged get-away driver after the shooting deaths of Brown and Sims.
