Man Exposed Himself To Girl
CHICAGO (STMW) - Police are warning Southwest Side residents of a man who exposed himself to a young female Thursday morning.
A man exposed his genitals to a young female and told her to "come here" about 8 a.m. Dec. 2 in the 4600 block of South Rockwell Street, according to a community alert issued by Wentworth Area detectives.
He is described as a 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-8 Hispanic man weighing about 140 pounds, the alert said. He is 35 to 40 years old with a dark complexion.
The man was last seen wearing a dark jacket and jeans, police said.
Police suggest residents call 911 to report any suspicious people, vehicles or activity. They also suggest not allowing children to travel alone or stand alone in public areas.
Police say children should be warned about strangers and suspicious vehicles, and adults should establish a safe location where they can go if they feel they are in trouble. Children should immediately report suspicious activities to adults.
