Man Dies In Custody At Harvey Police Lockup
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A 27-year-old south suburban man died Tuesday while in law enforcement custody at the Harvey police station.
Jeremy I. Hill died while he was in custody at the Harvey Police Department headquarters, 15301 Dixie Highway, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.
The circumstances surrounding Hill's death were not immediately known. Harvey police could not immediately be reached for comment early Wednesday.
Hill, of the 14000 block of Leavitt Avenue in Blue Island, was officially declared dead at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, an official at the medical examiner's office said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
