Man Dies After Shooting In Woodlawn
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man has died after being shot in the chest Friday morning in the Woodlawn neighborhood.
At 7:55 a.m. police responded to the 6500 block of South Rhodes Avenue where a man about 20 was found shot in the chest, according to News Affairs Officer Robert Perez.
The victim died later Friday morning, according to a spokeswoman for the Cook County Medical Examiner's office. She could not provide his identity or any other information.
Perez said no one has been arrested and Calumet Area police detectives are investigating.
The motive for the shooting has not been released.
