Man Dies A Day After Ukrainian Village Hit-And-Run
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man is dead a day after he was hit by a car in a hit-and-run crash in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood.
The man, believed to be in his 60s, was hit by the car in the 900 block of North Ashland Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, police said. He was found at the scene with serious injuries.
Paramedics took the man in critical condition to Stroger Hospital of Cook County. He was pronounced dead at the hospital at 1:33 a.m. Thursday, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office
Police are looking for a white four-door sedan in connection with the crash.
