Man Critically Wounded In South Side Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man in a vehicle was shot and critically wounded Tuesday night in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was inside his vehicle in the 300 block of East 71st Street when a gunman ran up, shot the man in the head and ran away about 6 p.m., said police News Affairs Officer Darryl Baety, citing preliminary information.
Fire Media Affairs said the man was taken in critical condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
Area Central detectives are investigating, but nobody is in custody Tuesday night.
