Man Critically Wounded In Second Little Village Shooting
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was critically injured Sunday afternoon after he was shot in the head in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.
Police say the 30-year-old man was shot in the head near the intersection of West 30th Street and South Kedvale Avenue about 4:28 p.m.
The man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
No one is in police custody. Area Central detectives are investigating.
The shooting was the second of the day in the Little Village neighborhood. Earlier, just before 8 a.m., a 22-year-old man was critically wounded after he was shot in the 2700 block of West 24th Place, police said.
