Man Critically Injured In High-Rise Fire In Lincoln Park
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A man was critically injured in a high-rise fire Sunday night in the North Side Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Crews responded about 7:15 p.m. to the still-and-box alarm at 2626 N. Lakeview Ave., according to Fire Media Affairs. An EMS Plan 1 response, which sends at least five ambulances, was called to the scene.
One man was taken in critical condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, fire media said.
The blaze was on the sixteenth floor of the high-rise and extinguished by 8:30 p.m., fire media said.
