Man Charged With Threats At Elgin Restaurant
ELGIN, Ill. (STMW) -- A man is facing felony charges after allegedly making threatening and racial remarks to police and customers at a Mexican restaurant in Elgin.
Jeffery J. Olsen, 34, of the 1000 block of Byron Lane in Elgin, was arrested about 2:30 a.m. Monday on two felony counts of threatening a public official and one felony count of disorderly conduct, court records said.
According to reports, Olsen made threatening and racist remarks to patrons inside El Paraiso restaurant, 314 S. McLean Blvd., and to police officers.
He will next appear in court Jan. 6.
