Man Charged With Threatening Attorney General Madigan
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was due for a bond hearing Friday, after authorities say he threatened Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan.
Maurice Pennington Sr., 56, of the 10300 block of South Indiana Avenue was arrested at his home Thursday by the Attorney General's police, according to Chicago Police.
He was charged Thursday night with felony threatening a public official because he relayed a written threat to Madigan in court filing documents, police said.
