Man Charged With Firing Gun On Roof Of Lincoln Park Building
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 27-year-old Lincoln Park man is in bond court right now - charged with two felonies and accused of firing a gun on the roof of his apartment building Sunday afternoon.
Peter Vitale is accused of firing a gun off several times on the roof of the building in the 2700 block of North Pine Grove.

Neighbor Samuel McIntire heard the shots. He says after a while he went downstairs, but didn't think too much about it at first, thinking it was probably fireworks.
"I wasn't even that curious," said McIntire. "I guess that's because it's not the neighborhood for something like that to happen."
But now that he knows it did happen in his neighborhood, he says, "Morons will be morons. It seems like it's pretty isolated... and (he) just...wanted to play with (his) toy."
27-year-old Peter Vitale is charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and reckless discharge of a firearm. The first charge alone carries a penalty of 4 to 15 years in prison.
In court Wednesday afternoon, a judge ordered Vitale held in lieu of $150,000 bail.
