Man Charged With Sexually Assaulting Two Women At Knifepoint
CHICAGO (STMW) - A man has been charged with trying to sexually assaulting two women at knifepoint at their Humboldt Park homes, police said.
Police confirmed a man was charged for the sexual assaults and robberies, but declined to give additional details until a press conference scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday.
The man approached a woman entering her residence in the 1700 block of North Humboldt Boulevard about 1:30 a.m. on July 11 and demanded money a knifepoint, according to a community alert from Area North detectives.

The man then forced the 29-year-old woman into the entryway and attempted to sexually assault her, but she called out for help and the man fled, police said.
The second attack happened about 1:55 a.m. on July 11 in the 1900 block of North Drake Avenue when a man forced his way inside a home and attempted to sexually assault a woman at knifepoint in her kitchen, the alert said. The woman shouted for help and the man fled.
