Man Charged With May Shooting Death In West Pullman
CHICAGO (STMW) -- A South Side man has been charged with the May shooting death of a man in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.
Roman Forman, 25, faces one count of first-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of a 25-year-old man on May 29, police said.
The victim, Freddie Walton and his girlfriend were walking into a store at 122nd and Halsted streets when a vehicle with two people inside pulled up and opened fire, police said.
Walton was shot in the neck and shoulder and was pronounced dead at Roseland Community Hospital, police said.
Forman, of the 4800 block of South Evans Avenue, is expected to appear in bond court Sunday.
