Man Charged With Dumping 'Hazardous Materials' In Gary
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man has been charged with dumping hazardous materials last month in northwest Indiana.
Refugio Martinez, 60, of Griffith, Indiana, was charged Monday with criminal recklessness, according to a statement from Gary police.
The charge stemmed from a Nov. 17 incident in which he dumped "items classified as containing hazardous materials" in the 7100 block of West Ninth Avenue, police said.
