Family Fight Over Polish Sausage Leads To Battery Charges
CHICAGO (STMW) - A New Year's Day fight over a Polish sausage has led to charges of unlawful use of a weapon and domestic battery against a 24-year-old man.
Jermaine Cook "slapped his sister in the face because they were fighting over a Polish sausage," prosecutors said on Sunday.

Police were called Saturday to a home in the 3700 block of West Polk Street, where they allegedly found Cook outside holding a handgun.
Cook has three felonies on his record, including vehicular hijacking, prosecutors said.
Cook is due back in court Jan. 7 and is being held on $125,000 bond.
